Southern Native Plantings grows quality native and non-invasive plant species.

We believe that landscaping with native plants is a trend that is more than just fashionable, it is sensible.  We sell plant species native to the southeastern United States, as well as non-native, non-invasive climatized plants.

Native plant species are those that naturally occur in a specific area and typically have not been introduced through human intervention.  They have evolved over time, are hearty and usually more insect and disease resistant.  Habitat preservation and soil and water conservation is the guiding principal behind using native plants.  They create a landscape that looks natural and usually functions with minimal care.  Using native plants in landscaping helps sustain wildlife and provide food and shelter for them.
